Christopher Matarese '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello My name is Christopher Matarese and I am a rising senior at Somerset Berkley Regional Highschool. I have been playing soccer since freshman year and recently started Varsity soccer my junior year. Due to covid we have not had a season yet but I am hoping to get out on the field in our Fall 2 season. While not playing for highschool soccer you can find me playing on the field with my club team Juventus Academy Boston 2003 EDS. This is the team I practice with all year long.  You can find me on the field using the jersey number 3,  I enjoy playing soccer and have been since the age of four. You can find me on defense usually left back. My strengths are speed and agility. I also work part time and have been doing so for the past 2.5 years. Academically I try my hardest to maintain good grades and be on the honor roll. I also ran the 55 meter dash for winter track my freshmen year. I also have played trumpet since 5th grade up until my junior year of highschool. I am well rounded and enjoy the sport of soccer and hope to pursue it in my college correer. My hopes during my college career is to obtaing my bachelors degree in engineering and move on to my masters as well. Thank You for your time Christopher Matarese
