I aspire to be a starter on a college level soccer team. My work ethic and appetite for the game of soccer make me a good candidate for any team. My drive to work hard and to succeed separate me from other recruits. Academically I work hard and do very well in school. Almost every class I take is either an advanced or AP class. I have been advanced a grade in math since 2nd grade, and was advanced 2 grades in math starting in 8th grade. I focus my classes in the fields of math and science to help me achieve my goal of going to medical school and eventually becoming a practicing doctor. This drive to succeed transfers from the classroom to the soccer field. On the field I take the role of a play-making, box to box central midfielder. The top aspects of my game are my vision and ability to pick out passes and complete them. When necessary I use my speed and dribbling ability to beat defenders to put myself or a teammate in position to score. I also can play the position of an outside midfielder or winger. I can play on either side of the field. When I have the ball at my feet I like to attack the defense and either cut inside for a shot or get to the side to put in a cross for my teammates. However, my playing abilities aren't only limited to the offensive end of the field. I work hard to get back on defense to help win the ball back for my team. My vision and knowledge of the game help me defensively to read passes and intercept them. I believe that I would make a great addition to any team looking for a player that works hard on and off the field.
