Personal Statement
My whole life I have loved all sports. I have played basketball, flag football and ran track and cross country for my school. But, my true passion has always been soccer. I have been playing since I was 4 years old. I have played all positions on the field. However, I am strongest as an attacking or defensive center mid. I have been playing club soccer with Columbia Select, now CoMo Rush 2008 boys since I started playing competitively at 8 years old. Our team has played at the highest level on both sides of Missouri. Division 1 in Heartland out of Kansas CIty, and the premier division in SLYSA out of St. Louis. I have been a 2x Missouri State Team player. For Rock Bridge High School, I played on the JV team this year as a freshman. I am looking for a school that will help my development as a soccer player, student and person. Academics is a high priority for me as my parents are both teachers and I have followed a rigorous academic courseload in high school. At this point in school I have a weighted GPA of 4.4 out of 4.0. I really look forward to meeting and learning about schools that can help me with my goals.
