As the son of two immigrants from Ecuador and Cuba, I am a first-generation American. My family has always loved the sport of soccer, and it is a massive part of our culture. As a student-athlete, I am committed to finding a school that can benefit me both academically and athletically. I believe your program could allow me to thrive in both areas. As a natural-born leader, I take pride in building strong relationships with both my teammates and coaches. On the field, I maintain composure, work well with the ball at my feet, and have a keen sense of how the game should be played. Additionally, my fluency in Spanish makes me an asset to any teammates who may struggle with the English language. Academically, I am a dedicated student with a 4.3 GPA and have been a varsity starter since my sophomore year. I can balance my academics and soccer commitments and take pride in being a student-athlete. Lastly, I am driven to excel and have always been held to a higher standard. My first academy game was at 13 years old, playing in a U18 game, and since then, I have strived to push myself beyond my peers. I am eager to meet with you and discuss how I can contribute to your program as a dedicated student-athlete and leader on the field. Thank you for considering me as a potential addition to your soccer team.
