I tell my tell my parents that if I don't come back from a game dirty that means I did not do well enough as a goalkeeper. I started playing soccer since I was four years old. My idol is Manuel Nuer, he was the best sweeper keeper for a long time. Every game I try to be just like him. I try to recreate the way he comes out on breakaways without hesitation. What makes me different from the rest of the goalkeepers is that I excel on one v one situations. I especially enjoy the goalkeeper training sessions because I can improve my conditioning and technique.
As much as I want to work hard to become a successful athlete , I also want to strive to be an excellent student. I am very happy that I am fortunate enough to go to one of the top public schools in the country. I believe those skills that I take from that class can help me succeed in the future.
I am looking for a College that will stimulate my athletic and academic potential. Being a goalkeeper also teaches me a lot, like teamwork and leadership. These characteristics will also help me academically.
