Learning and being a part of my community are important to me. In school, I take both Mandarin and Spanish. I also play the snare drum in the Pep Band. I am a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. I am also a member of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. In 2023 I received the Scholar-Athlete Award from the New York Public High School Athletic Association for maintaining an A average while playing varsity soccer.
Outside of school, I work as a Camp Counselor during breaks with children who have developmental disabilities, I volunteer with elementary-aged school children tutoring with homework, and I teach neighborhood children how to play soccer. I am working towards 500 hours of community service to receive a prestigious award from North Shore High School.
I plan on attending college for business and/or mathematics.
