My friends and family would describe me as someone with a big heart, who works hard, listens, is loyal to the people around me, and strives to make a difference.
On the soccer field, I play left back on the Westchester Flames Elite 06 team, and have been with the club for several years; we just won the Potomac Memorial Tournament and currently are top of the North Atlantic Spring 2023 1st division.I am a versatile player, equally comfortable as a CB, CDM, winger or (my favorite) CM. I shoot, and score, with my left foot as well as my right, but I also do the housework on defense, and I play with creativity, vision, and excellent technique.
Off the field, I have maintained a 3.7 average in high school, with AP and honors classes. I also play double-bass in the orchestra, volunteer my time with disabled children, and this summer will be working as counselor-in-training at Camp Becket in Massachusetts. Whether in an orchestra, on a team or just with my friends, I lead from the back: I don't need to be the focus of attention, but I like the feeling of holding a group together and accomplishing something bigger than us as individuals. I don't know what that looks like in college, but that's what I'm looking for.
