Personal Statement

My name is Jonas Bisard.   

I am a versatile '05 player and graduating High School in 2023.  I currently play for my HS team and for my Brooklyn-based club in various NYC competitive leagues (CJSL, NYCSL, EDP) at the U19 level year round.  I just wrapped up my HS season and was the NYC PSAL's Golden Boot winner (29 goals) and the leading goal contributor in 2023 across all public high schools in New York City.  I also led my undefeated club team in scoring and assists during our most recent seasons.

I am looking for a program that offers a great college experience and team culture, and one that values player development and seeks hard-working, creative players skilled at technical build up play and who are great teammates insanely passionate about soccer like me.

What sets me apart?

As a Senior, I earned the top regular season scorer and top goal contributor across all divisions of the New York City PSAL with 27 goals and 9 assists, and was a top 25 scorer last year as Junior.

I helped my HS team, after not having won a game in four years, turn into a winning program (undefeated in the regular season!).

My club teammates voted me the Player of the Year the last two seasons based on my performance and leadership.

I play for the oldest club in NYC (founded in 1911) which is one of the few clubs in NYC with only full-time USSF & UEFA licensed coaches on staff who have trained me my whole soccer career.   

I am a coachable playmaker and can play multiple positions and typically play center attacking mid, forward or out wide on either wing. 

Outside of my club and HS training, I want to constantly get better so I additionally train weekly one-on-one with a top-rated South American trainer in the area to continue to build my strength, fitness and technical skill levels. 

Playing in NYC, I am exposed to all sorts of high level competition, different styles, extremely high level of soccer and different coaching already.  

I attended a 3 week IMG camp in Florida (won "Camper of the Week" and was invited to play on one of their select invite teams).

Right now,  I am  looking for the right fit, excellent coaching and competitive College Camp invites and opportunities to visit campuses to catch some college matches.
