Hello Coaches,
As a career I want to have a close affinity to sports after college either as a player or in the business of sports. Academically, I want pursue Sports Mangement degree. I also want to play soccer at the college level.
Sports are a passion for me. As a young child I moved between countries and had to learn a new language and adjust to a new culture. I was lucky to be good at athletics and team sports, and these skills helped me to build friendships, learn a new language, and raise my confidence. The other kids did not care how I looked or spoke, it was about playing the game and competition.
I have played club soccer since I was 6 and played for my High School team the last 3 years. I also enjoy competition in other sports such volleyball, and track and field.
As a soccer player, my preferred positions are left-mid, right-mid or striker. I can also play left or right defensive positions as a wing-back.
My strengths are my fitness, speed, pressing, close ball control, and precise passing. I enjoy playing off the shoulders of defenders and using my speed to run in behind to either shoot or assist another player on my team to score. I also enjoy tackling, hustling, and disrupting the other team. I maintain my level of fitness, even in the off season. I enjoy working out, training, practicing, and keeping my mind and body sharp. I also enjoy the bonds and friendships of a team.
Thank you for considering me as a potential athlete at your college.
