I started playing soccer at a very young age. After falling in love with soccer, soccer has become an integral part of my life. From elementary school to middle school, I played for the club team and school team in South Korea, and in the year I was in high school, I moved to the United States because of my father's work. Although I immigrated, my passion for soccer remained the same. When I arrived in the US, the soccer season had already ended, and it wasn't until I was in 10th grade that I did my first tryout. In 10th grade, I was selected to the Varsity team thankfully and I was very grateful to be able to play the U.S high school soccer as a starter. It was a very special experience and I was delighted. And this year, at the end of my Junior varsity season, during a meeting with the coach, I found out about the soccer college program and became very interested in it. My high school coach also recommended I try, and my parents support me. I started late, but I believe in my soccer skills and I believe that I can play at the next level. In my first year of immigration, I had a lot of difficulties due to language problems, but I worked hard and was able to maintain a 3.5 GPA. As time goes by, I am gaining confidence in my studies.
I would appreciate it if you allow me to use my talents for your team. Thank you for reading!
