Iyoshua Baxter '25 Recruiting Profile

As the team captain, I am always encouraging my teammates to stay focused and work hard. My strengths are my pace, agility, and the ability to play several attacking and defensive positions. I have been called to play on teams several years older and have experience playing in UPSL matches. I have earned top goal scorer (30 goals), top assists (8) and received an award for the ‘play of the season.’ I was honored to recently receive the Nassau County, New York All Conference Award and to be named as a Nassau County Scholar Athlete for Varsity Boys Soccer. I also have experience training younger soccer players in techniques such as pass accuracy and one touch. I am focused both on the pitch and also with my education. I am very interested in majoring in Business. My goal is to play professional soccer and become an entrepreneur. My nickname is Iyo and what you can expect from me is hard work, dedication and a team player.
