Jack Manella '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi – I’m Jack Manella. I started playing soccer when I was eight and loved it from the beginning. I am a sophomore and play as a right defender for Hough High School and with the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club. I am a hard worker on the field and in school. Playing soccer has allowed me to be competitive, be a part of a team, and understand the value of hard work. Outside of soccer, I run a lawn maintenance business, which has strengthened my time management, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. I am grateful to have a family who supports and encourages me and fantastic coaches who challenge me. I want to continue playing soccer in college and pursue a degree in business.
