Hi my name is Ngalula Lupembe, but I go by middle name, Jordan. I attend Jordan HS in Durham, NC. I currently am the starting varsity goalie for my HS. Prior to this year, I played goalie for Inter Development Futbol (IDF), which is a small club that focuses on intensive technical training, emphasizes possesion-based style of play, and competes at the academy level. In 2022, we were NC State Cup and Southeast Regional Champs and qualified for US Club Nationals in Denver CO. Because of IDF's focus on technical training and possession, I developed very strong foot skills and a solid ability to distribute the ball, and was frequently used as an extra defender. Although I am a little shorter than the typical goalie, I am physically strong, very solid with my hands, and have good instinct and skill at handling and judging the ball in the air. I am also a hard worker and came to the US as a refugee from Africa when I was 12 years old. I am the oldest of 7 children. I am excited about playing soccer and pursuing education beyond HS.
