Personal Statement

I’m a member of the class of 2021 at Marlington High School in Alliance, OH, and a attacking midfielder on our soccer team.  I’m interested in continuing my soccer career at the collegiate level and pursue a teaching degree in young adult/adolescent education.    

In addition to playing on our varsity and junior varsity teams, I also play for Canton United at the MRL level and play attacking, center and holding mid.

As a sophomore, I was our team captain and lead the team in assist this past JV season.  I’ve also played at the varsity level adding more assists to my resume.

In the classroom, I am ranked in the top third of my class with a 3.0 GPA, taking mostly honors classes (Social Studies, Algebra II and Biology) and plan to acquire my degree in Adolescent & Young Adult/Secondary Education to become a high school social studies teacher and varsity coach upon graduation.
