My name is Skyler Breckenridge. I attend Westerville Central High School and stand at 5’11” and weigh 135 lbs. I am a very energetic and outgoing person who loves gaining connections to other people and building relationships which is one of the reasons I would like to major in Business Administration and Management. With being a communicative person I've gained very good leadership skills that I often get recognized for.I try to be a leader both in school and on the field. For the fall 2022 high school season I was rostered on Varsity while starting on our Junior Varsity team and backed up for the varsity team. Last year I earned an award for being a “Scholar Athlete”. I first started playing soccer at the age of 3 and played year round till the age of 10 where I played basketball, baseball and soccer. After that I played baseball year round till about the age of 14. After the covid year I decided to go back to my first love and fully commit to soccer, with my experience and athletic ability to dive gained in baseball playing shortstop. I have dedicated the last 15 months to become the best goalkeeper possible with large hopes of playing at the next level in any division of college soccer. I am a hard worker as I have been told by coaches and peers, I always feel there is more to be done and improvements to work on and that focusing on my weaknesses is what can make me even better instead of focusing on things I am already good at. Along with playing soccer I also take 2 college courses at my highschool and work at a local restaurant,I also referee in a local youth soccer league and have my US referee certification. In my free time I try to get out on the pitch. The thing I love the most about playing soccer is the brotherhood that comes with it along with the constant push to be better and be great, one of the reasons I’d love to continue my journey for the next 4 years after High School.
