I am a competitive, passionate, skillful, goal oriented, focused team player. I take my abilities developed on the soccer field and translate them to success in other areas such as academics, scouting, philanthropy and arts.
I play in the top youth soccer program available in Oklahoma, the ECNL League. This was a huge milestone for me in my soccer career. I had always wanted to compete at a high level but more importantly, I wanted to contribute to my team’s success at this level. In addition, I also play on my high school soccer team starting at the varsity level as a sophomore.
As a person, I have used the same principle in other areas. I applied the lessons from the soccer field into academics and tests using the same philosophy to breakdown the deficiencies and work on them one at a time. This resulted in high academic achievement with a GPA of 3.8+ despite taking AP classes. These lessons are also useful in my other activities as well such as training to become an eagle scout, contribute to the society by participating in a local philanthropy initiative called Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and broadening my talents by playing piano.
I contribute to the team by my work ethic, game understanding, support to team mates on and off the field, positive attitude, being accountable, taking on responsibility and providing leadership.
My personal goal is to play NCAA Soccer at a top college and university that develops student athletes not only to be successful on the field but also in their academics and career.
