I began playing soccer at six years old and since then have been fortunate to play at the highest levels of competition. As a three-time member of the Crossfire Premier Washington State Cup Championship team (U10, 11 and 12), I was the only player from my team to earn the tournament’s Best XI each year. An early career highlight was when I was selected to play for an older Crossfire team participating at the Madrid Cup in Spain. At the tournament, I competed against some of the world’s top clubs and players, including Real Madrid and Paris St. Germain. That tournament not only provided memorable experiences, but it also gave me the confidence to realize I could play with the best and reinforced my desire to take my career as far as I can both collegiately and professionally.
As a result of my work and success, I was invited to join the Portland Timbers Academy. I believe I thrive in intensive team environments when pushed by the best. I accept critique and advice, as I recognize it can only help me become better. On the field, I am a solid defender with exceptional tackling abilities. I am a consistent and critical passer who is difficult to dispossess, and I strive to be a lethal asset to the attack. I have both mental grit and a tireless work ethic that sets me apart from other recruits.
As much as I love the game, I recognize that my work in the classroom is just as important as my work on the field because my education will dictate my long-term success. I want to be a part of a college program where I can excel at being a better soccer player, student, and person. I look forward to meeting you and sharing more about myself to determine if I'm the right fit for your team in 2023.
