Personal Statement

Accolades: Intermountain Conference second-team all-league, Multiple perfect attendance awards, Multiple 4.0 GPA awards, Multiple 3.5+ GPA awards, Two OSAA certificates of participation awards for playing in two playoff games.

What 2021 Intermountain Conference Coach of the Year Jimmy Kim says about me - “Bryson is very very talented, even as a freshman you could see that he was strong with his right foot, strong with his left foot. He's got great pace, he's tough, he works hard.”

Hello Coaches,

My name is Bryson Sheehan. I go to Ridgeview High School in Redmond, OR. I’m 18 years old. On March 17, 2022 was my last day of high school, in other words I graduated early. I always make sure to get all my school work done diligently. It´s important to me and is my number one priority with soccer being second. Soccer is something that has always been a part of who I am. I’ve learned a lot from my soccer experiences and will continue to learn. My dad has always been my inspiration since I  started playing soccer 10 years ago. My goal is to play at a D3 level and learn how I can become a better forward. I usually play RW, but I can play ST and LW as well. I’d prefer to play LW if I had the choice of choosing one position. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, golfing, playing chess, listening to music, watching Netflix, and traveling. I like to keep busy as much as possible to keep my mind off of things. On November 3, 2021 we lost to Silverton in a first-round playoff game. This was the second time we lost to them in a playoff game. It was a close hard-fought match. After the game, I cried my eyes out. I couldn’t believe this was my last high school soccer game. Contemplating how much the game means to me. I remember walking off that field headed to our bus and thinking this can’t be it for me. I want to come back stronger than ever. This motivates me every day.

Thank you for your time,

Bryson Sheehan
