Personal Statement

My name is Tyler Bellem, 2025 graduate, and soccer is my passion.

My strongest character traits are that I am coachable, always willing to learn, hardworking, loyal and I always try to do the right thing.

Being selected as the MVP and First Team All Division for my high school team as a Freshman has been one of my proudest moments.

I currently play for MLS Next Bayside FC U19. Foregoing playing high school soccer in order to play in the MLS Next league, I feel gives me the best opportunity to reach my goal of playing college soccer. I take practices seriously with the attitude of how you practice ultimately leads to how you play on the field. I have good decision-making abilities as well as an extremely good vision of the field.

I will remain focused on the goal of playing college soccer.
