Osi Onwudiwe '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Osi Onwudiwe, I'm a fifteen year old 6”0, left winger/ offensive midfielder, currently attending Portsmouth Abbey School in Rhode Island. I started playing soccer around the age of four and since then, I began to develop a strong passion for the game. I played a variety of positions when I was younger, and that has helped me to become the versatile player that I am today. I play on the varsity team for Portsmouth Abbey as their starting left winger, wearing number 9, and I have scored a total of 13 goals with 5 assists this season. I also play a year up for North FC (EDP) for their u17s and will be attending a three week program playing some of the best youth clubs in France

As well as being a good team player and strong leader on the pitch, I make sure to put in maximum effort  off the pitch also by getting good grades in school and being a good student in the class. In my first year of high school, I was able to make both honors and Deans list which are the two highest academic achievements per term .My goal is to get into a college that fits me best and work as hard as possible to get to the top.  I see myself as a friendly person who is ready to encourage his teammates and push them as well to be the best they can be. This is just a brief summary about me and I hope that throughout the course of working with me, that you will like what you see.
