Soccer has always been very important first playing at 4 years old on a YMCA team with my older brother, coached by my dad. We had fun while winning and playing with friends. I have been on the Dallas Texans the past 10 years with the last 6 years on the USSDA or ECNL teams. One of the highlights of my career is going deep into the playoffs 2 years ago for ECNL getting to the quarterfinals only to lose a very tight match in PK’s. I love the camaraderie of playing with my teammates, the competitive nature of the sport, and the pride in winning as a team. My strengths as a player are leadership, understanding the game and being in the right position with and without the ball and being a “team player”. I am looking to continue playing for a great soccer program in college at a strong academic institution, being part of something special, growing as a player with my teammates and coaches while getting a great education.
