"If the plan doesn't work, change the plan, but never the goal." In my life, many of my plans have changed, but my goal to play soccer has never altered. I have been playing soccer for 12 years, since I was 3 years old. I have played many different positions on both defense and offense. On my current select team, I play CM. I have strong ball handling skills, effective dribbling techniques, and excellent shooting ability. I am confident and dexterous on the field using both my left and right foot with equal skill. I am a team player with efficient passing skills and the ability to make crosses, assist in goals, and finish plays. As a teammate, I am encouraging, positive and uplifting. As a recruit, I am hard working, coachable, and determined.
My goals include playing at the collegiate level and beyond. I have played on a select soccer team for the past 3 years, starting as either winger or CM each game. I also play CM on my high school soccer team, and I am a starter there as well. In between seasons I continue to train by running, weightlifting, and working on foot work and drills.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. I am also actively involved in my church activities. I am an example to my friends and a role model to those around me.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in both the classroom and on the soccer field. I would like to find the right college match at the highest competitive level, which will help me fulfill my dreams to play soccer at not only the college level, but beyond.
