ALEXANDER SALCIDO '21 Recruiting Profile

Coach, My name is Alexander James Salcido, graduating class of 2021. I go by AJ. I attend Permian High School in Odessa, TX where I am currently holding a 4.0 GPA and am in the National Honor Society. I also am a three (3) year varsity starter as an attacking midfielder. I always strive to do my absolute best in the classroom. I am a quiet and hardworking student in the classroom and a vocal leader on the pitch. Playing soccer is my passion. It is my dream! I have always wanted this! I have always wanted to play at the next level. I have always felt that I can be the player that is the missing piece to make a squad better. The player that can and will play professionally! That is my mindset. I have also been playing club soccer for Farm of Professional Soccer FC. I primarily play as an attacking midfielder. If more creativity is needed up top, I play as lone striker. I am predominately a right-footed player, but I have a very good left foot as well! Every day at training I strive to get better. Whether it is working on my passing, my shooting, and my footwork. I am also always looking to improve other aspects of my game such as communication and positioning. I am a very open-minded player and am very creative on the ball, as well as with my runs behind the backline. I am a selfless player that likes to create plays for my teammates, but I also know when I need to take my own chances. I like to have communication with my coaches during games and practice sessions. I feel that this dialog can help me grow as a soccer player.
