Andrew Preuss '26 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer for 12 years, for the last 6 with a premier club team. While I enjoy the midfield the most, my coaches have utilized my flexibility, teamwork and athleticism in other positions  -- I have successfully played both up at wing and at center back. This year I was named captain of my HS team, and named to first team in my division and all state.

I have also been a certified USSF referee; reffing matches for my club and VSA leagues. In 2023 I started volunteering with younger teams including being a buddy for TOPSoccer and as an assistant coach for a U12 team.

I want to keep playing soccer as a scholar athlete at the collegiate level, while pursuing a business/math based major. I was selected to NHS as a junior, and am taking AP classes to prepare for college classes.  I'm also part of our school's Athletic Leadership Council, and have been attending workshops statewide as part of my role on ALC.
