Terran Baker '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Terran Baker and I am a senior at Lord Botetourt High School in Daleville, VA. I played varsity soccer at Covington High school since its inception as a school sponsored sport in the fall of 2016. I played striker for several travel teams in the Valley AFC organization in Roanoke, VA since 2016. This fall, I am the starting kicker for the Lord Botetourt HS Varsity football team and starting striker for the Valley AFC U19 travel team in Skyline Soccer Premier Division.

What I see in my future is to graduate high school and attend a college or university majoring in Computer Information Systems. During my time in college, I would like to focus on pursuing a career that will bring me both happiness and personal accomplishments. But my dream is to play soccer while in college and then continue to play at the highest level I can possibly achieve. My passion in life is soccer. Not only do I have high expectations for myself of achieving excellent academic grades, I also want to be part of a college soccer team.

Since the age of four, I have played for recreational teams, travel teams, and high school teams. I have attended several camps to build my fundamental abilities and to learn new skills. I look forward to attending more in the future. I am a great candidate for any college team due to my versatility on the field in several positions, as well as my leadership on and off the field. I am also a very "coachable" player who applies what I have learned from other sports to the game of soccer. I will work harder and longer than anyone else on the team. My first love in life has always been soccer. I am looking forward to showing you what I can do.
