I have been playing soccer since I was 5. I saw it on the tv in my living room and have fallen in love with the beautiful game. I've always wanted to play at the collegiate level and even go further than that.
Now why would you want me on your team as a goalkeeper? I'm a tall, athletic and smart player. My soccer IQ shows a lot in high pressure situations and crucial times in the game. I always try to help and lead my teammates in whatever way I can. I treat all my teammates like brothers and treat them as I would want to be treated. I love being the first one to practice and the last to leave not just to get the extra work but, to be around the game I love for as long as possible.
I have a long athletic history of basketball, football camps and even track camps. I played travel basketball and soccer when I was younger but later decided to stick to soccer at the high school varsity level. I play indoor soccer as a goalkeeper and midfielder to sharpen my skills in the off season.
Now why would your college want me in the classroom? I keep a high GPA and am very attentive in class. Being a student athlete, student comes first and my parents and I truly believe that. I would love to study business and economics, and as well as playing soccer, someday own my own business.
Being that most of my family has a degree, I want to attend a college where I can find the degree I want to pursue and thrive afterward. My main goal in life is to bring glory to God and make my parents proud and provide for them as they have done for me.
