Leon Racines '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Leon Racines and currently a senior, class of 2023.  I am from Milan, Italy and currently enjoying/ living America lifestyle as an exchange student in West Virginia.  I am hoping to further my educational studies and continue my soccer career at a competitive program.  I am interested in studying business, specifically business/ marketing, and feel i could pursue both educational and athletic desires attending your school. 

In regards to my soccer background, I was introduced to soccer at the age of 5, and have fallen in love with the game ever since.  I play Striker position, and have had the opportunity of progressing my skills, starting at an Elite club in Milan, Italy to playing at the high level as a member of the youth academy of professional Serie A team, AC Monza.  I have worked hard and am proud of my athletic ability especially with my goal scoring abilities.

I arrived in America, August 2022, and was eager to participate on my high school team.  Despite missing the first few games, i helped our team become Sectional Champions and advance to the Regional final of the 2022 WV High School state tournament.  Throughout the season, I was able to achieve the following stats:
