I am currently starting my Senior year in high school. I am dedicated to my schooling and my soccer committments. I played in my hometown rec. soccer from age 6-8. At the ages of 9-11 I was placed on the Baraboo U14 rec A competative team. Beacuse I was so much younger, when my teammates started high school I decided to find a more competative team. Ages 12-13 I played at MYSC in Middleton and hour from my home. I was a starter on their top team in my age group but wanted to look for a team in a higher division. Ages 14-16 I decided to play at SC Waukesha. They offered the teams at the levels I wanted to play at. This is two hours from my home. I have been lucky to be coached by coaches with all kinds of backgrounds. coaches that have played in top colleges, played proffesionally, from Brazil, and coaches that currently coach at Marquette college. I have been lucky to learn many diffent skills and stratigies from this wide varity of coaching. I believe that my commitment and dedication to improving my self is very evident to my teammates and coaches. My high school career did not start at my freshman year. Because I am a year ahead in school than my age. My club team played a full year because all my teammates were in 8Th grade. I decided to stay with the club and not to play with my highschool that year. My sophmore year was my first high school season. I did make varsity and started in many games. We were able to win our confrence but were unable to do well in state. This was the best season our high school soccer team had done in the entire history of Baraboo soccer. All this with still maintaining my school work and remaining on honor roll every quarter. Once I decided soccer is the sport I wanted to concentrate on I was able to climb from the rec leagues in my small town to the MRL with my Waukesha team. Now I have set my sights on my college education and looking for a good fit for myself on the pitch with the right school. I am 17 yrs old 5'6" and 118 lbs. I play right midfield, right defender, and left midfield. I have to offer dedication, leadership, a good work ethic, eagerness to learn and all with knowing the importance of a good education. I believe I would like to go to a smaller school that offers a good education, with a soccer team that I could be an impact player. Location is not as important, the school with the right fit for me would be a more important factor. I have narrowed down a major to either Compuer Science or Computer Information Systems. I am lucky that my parents have helped my achieve many of the goals I have set for myself in school and soccer. I know not many parent would drive 2 hour to practice sit at practice for 2 hours and then have another 2 hour drive home. And do this 4 to 6 days a week during the club season. I am excited to think about setting goals for college in education and soccer and see where it can take me.
