Mason McKay '23 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer my entire life, and it has always been my favorite sport, without a doubt. I just really want to find a team that I can continue playing the sport that I love. I believe there are three main points to having a successful season, no matter the score of the game. The first point is communication. Communication with your team is the key to coordination and forming a strong union, which is why I always try my best to communicate my thoughts clearly with my teammates and coaches. I also believe that effort is another key to success. Whether it's on or off the field, it is always important to give 110% at everything you do, which is a standard I try to live by. One final key to success I believe is attitude. Win or lose, your attitude is what really decides the outcome of a game. Sure, you might have lost 0-10, but if you can take away the positive points and learn something from it, it's never a total loss. These three points are not something I use just on the soccer field, but in my everyday life, and I hope to share them with others.
