Jacob (Jake) Ledger '24 Recruiting Profile

Although I am good technically and decent at taking people 1 on 1, I have other characteristics that others may not. I am the captain of my current soccer team and the reason for this is because of my leadership on and off the field as well as the work I put into the game. On the field, you will never see me slacking off on plays or dragging my teammates down. You won't hear me stop talking as I am always giving pointers and helping my players as well as you will never see me not moving. I am always buzzing around trying to receive the ball and deliver it to a new spot. I know when to take the ball 1 on 1 and also when to play the simple pass or long ball to switch the field. As well as leadership on the field, I also am a good leader off the field whether it is academics or just keeping my team in line. Another thing is, I love to make my teammates look good. I am not a selfish player and will always make the best decision on where to go with or without the ball whether it is the right pass to make or the right position to be in.
