Personal Statement

Soccer has been a very big part of my life as far as I can remember. Since the age of 4, I have played and enjoyed the sport and at around the age of 7 years old I decided I wanted to play professionally.

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to play at the club and academy level, while also working to build my skills through supplemental technical training with personal coaches and programs such as Coerver coaching. My early development includes 3 years living abroad in Sydney, Australia where I played for both a local club and the FC Barcelona Academy in Sydney. During my time at the Barcelona Academy, I had the opportunity to travel for two consecutive years to Barcelona, Spain playing teams from around the world representing the Australian Academy in the annual FC Barca World Cup event. Since my return from Australia in 2020, I joined the AFC Union 2007 Premier team where we’ve had 2 consecutive championship seasons. I also had the opportunity to make the Wisconsin State team for the USYS Olympic Development program.

My immediate goal is to work on my game and earn the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I think of the ideal college as one where I can be challenged both athletically and academically.

I would describe myself as a very skillful player, technical with good dribbling, passing, and great shooting ability with both feet. I am also a very fast player with good vision on the ball. These qualities could make me ideal as a midfielder, left or right winger. I always look to be a hard-working player, on and off the pitch.

In school, I also work very hard, keeping a very high level of academics. I am also involved in many extracurricular activities, including being part of the Student Government, Science Olympiad, and a Math club.

I am excited to find the right fit where I can contribute to deliver on the team’s goals, while also continuing all facets of my professional development journey.
