I can’t wait to swim in college! I’m excited for the camaraderie, character building, and development of a strong work ethic that comes with being part of a collegiate team. I’m still researching colleges, but my main goal is to find a place that is welcoming and will help me continue to reach my goals. At Prairie, my favorite subjects are math and science. I found that this year’s unit on plant cells to be the most interesting as it relates back to the work I do on my family's vegetable and grain farm. Outside of school, I devote a lot of time to swimming. It is an activity that I love because it allows me to see what working hard can accomplish and I also have a lot of fun doing it. I’ve carved out a unique spot on my team because I motivate my teammates by building them up before and after they compete. Finding a team that will help me continue to develop and learn is important. I approach each day as a chance to learn, and developing into a man of character is crucial. At Prairie, I’ve enjoyed being a 'buddy' to a younger student in Primary School, an activity that helps others in the community. In addition, I volunteer at my local hospital, helping others who may be going through a hard time. I love bringing joy to people always. I look forward to continuing activities that make an impact once I get to college.
