Personal Statement
My name is Connor Ferris. I am currently 6'1" and weigh 160 lbs. Outside of one summer program my first competitive diving experience was as a freshman in high school. As a freshman, I took first place in our League, and placed 13th at CIF-SS Division I, setting a record high score for my school and earning them
points at CIF. As a Sophomore I placed 8th and Medaled at CIF-SS Div. 1, increasing my score by almost 60 points. As a Junior I spend 1-2 days a week at the Rose Bowl for additional Training, and kept this up during my high school soccer season. Even though I currently compete in two sports, I expect to only be Diving in college full time. I am open to attending any school that has Men’s Diving. I come from a family of collegiate athletes so this is very important to me. Thank you for your consideration.
