John Michael Hall '15 Recruiting Profile

I began swimming in the summer league in Peachtree City,Ga when I was 8 yrs old, and instantly fell in love with the sport. My dad had been a swimmer from a young age thru his senior year in high school having been a member of the Gainesville Swim Club and Johnston High school in Gainesville Ga. before joining the Air Force.Turning 12 I asked my parents if I could join the year round swim club Southern Crescent Aquatics Club run by Jamey Meyers in Peachtree City Ga. Since that time swimming and the discipline it takes to become a champion competitive swimmer have been the focal point of my athletic endeavors. As a freshman in high school I was awarded the MVP award and set several school records that are still standing today, having only been broken by myself. I have a 3.2 GPA and a very high work ethic. I believe thru the discipline learned in the pool that I have been able to balance the important aspects in my life. I've also been lucky enough to have parents that have supported me fully in my athletic and scholastic endeavors.
