2023 NE LCM Senio...Personal Statement
Swimming has been a significant part of my life since I was around 3 years old. I first began swimming competitively at the age of 9 and continued for 4 years until I decided I needed to take a break. Over this period, I visited other athletic options that turned out to be on and off, and nothing really worked out for me.
As time went on I realized the importance of swimming and what I was missing from being away from the sport so I recommitted myself to the sport during my junior year of High School with a new passion and hunger. Along with momentous improvements over a short period of time and a strong devotion to improve my craft, I have set my sights on swimming at the collegiate level.
