While swimming is often looked upon as a individual sport, I feel the comradery is the element that is most appealing to me. The shared long for a championship title always bolstered my ambition amidst the hardships. I pride myself on being a leader not only in the pool, but out as well. I feel as though it is crucial for a team's success to be synergetic and supportive of one another.

One of my goals for college includes being able to keep a strong athletic presence while still continuing to excel in academic areas of my life.  I am looking for a school that has a firm emphasis on education, as growing up this was instilled upon me from an early age. My parents always pushed me to succeed in school as they knew the value of education. I hope that I can continue to balance swimming and education in a way that is beneficial to both.
