My goal is to become the best swimmer I can be. I am a good candidate for your team because I am centered, I work hard, and I appreciate feedback because I know how to learn from my errors and move forward.  I have learned to work hard, adapt, and make the best of challenging circumstances through hard experiences. Living in a third-world country has been hard for me as an athlete. I have also learned to be thankful for what I have to train with and make the best of it.  Being able to train with a University in the US will catapult me to my best potential because I will work hard and take advantage of the great opportunity.  I work hard to balance my academics and my sport. I am my team's captain and have been swimming competitively for 5 years.
