Personal Statement
My name is Taylor Hartinger and I am a dual citizen of the US and Czech Republic. My enthusiasm and passion for hockey grew when I was a young girl watching my father play pro hockey. I had a unique childhood living in several different states and in Europe throughout the years. I am a 2024 graduate playing for the 19U Tier 1 Little Caesars program in Michigan, where I currently reside. I am a hardworking and determined player that welcomes challenges. I also love to challenge myself academically by taking accelerated classes. I am successfully balancing my academic and athletic life. Maintaining a high GPA is important to me.
Last season with the 19U Tier 1 Jr. Flyers I had a bittersweet moment that all hockey players strive to achieve. Our team made it all the way to the championship at the USA Hockey Girls Tier 1 19U National Championship. It was a moment I will never forget! We won silver coming in second. I am extremely proud to have been part of such a great team. I would love to continue my hockey career playing in college at a high level. I understand all the extra hard work and dedication that goes into achieving success with balancing school and hockey. I value the feedback and advice from coaches, trainers, and my teammates. I strive to always improve myself daily by putting in those extra hours of hard work with extra practice on the ice and off the ice. Hockey has always been part of my journey and I would love to continue playing at a collegiate level! If you have any questions please contact me or my coaches, thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
