Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Carter Boone and I am a member of the Class of 2024 at Bellefonte Area High School. Swimming has always been a defining part of my life and a longtime passion of mine which I plan to pursue throughout my collegiate career. My strengths include butterfly and other middle distance freestyle events, but I can be very versatile whenever needed. I have competed at multiple higher-level competitions such as the 2022 VA EZ South Region Speedo Sectionals and the 2021 ISCA Summer Senior Blast. Outside of swimming, I preform quite well academically with an unweighted 3.94 GPA and achieving the rank of distinguished high honor roll within my class. Additionally, I am a part of many extracurricular organizations such as Model UN, Academic Decathlon, Class Cabinet, and a student and staff help group known as Raider Revolution. I am a compassionate and self-motivated individual with a strong goal and career focus that defines me as a swimmer, student, and teammate.
