Personal Statement
I have a passion for swimming. It is what I love to do. I am an amazing hard worker, good teammate, and I am always seeking help and advice to make me a faster swimmer. I am easy to coach, listen well, and I will always try my hardest no matter what the circumstance. Under-waters have become my focus, and I plan on working on them towards perfection. Also, I absolutely hate losing, and I will do whatever it takes to end up on top, even it it takes me a little longer than most people. One of my ultimate goals in swimming is to get the chance to compete at Olympic Trials, and with the large amounts of improvement I have experienced this past season, this dream is becoming very achievable. Although swimming is my passion, academics always come first. I love learning, and education is the primary driving force in my life. I am one of the most determined, driven, and motivated high school students out there, and no matter how long it takes me to understand something, I will persevere until I accomplish whatever it is I am striving for.

- Had a fantastic season, and I improved tremendous amounts. I broke a couple age group records throughout the season for my club, and placed very well at the WSI Swimming State Championships. Also, I traveled to Federal Way, WA for the Speedo Sectionals, and swam a majority of personal bests, and continued to improve on my best times from High School State and WSI Championships that I had swam a few weeks prior to the meet.

- Improved all season. Finished in the top 3 in the majority of my events at club state, and obtained 7 Western Senior Zone qualification time standards. Competed in federal way, WA at senior sectionals on relays.
