My name is Jack Scarpa and I am a junior from Salisbury, CT. I have played Varsity tennis in one of the top 3 singles position since my freshman year and have participated in the State Tournament each year. I have a 3.7 GPA and have had a very rigorous class schedule. I am looking for a school where I can find the right balance between academics and tennis.
I hope to be able to contribute early on and improve my game. I am currently undecided on a major, but am interested in medicine and law. My preference would be a smaller school and financial assistance is important to me. Some schools that I intend to visit or have interest in are: United States Coast Guard Academy, Johns Hopkins University, Dartmouth, University of Oregon, University of Pennslyvania, Connecticut College and a few others. I realize that some of these D1 or Ivy schools may not be an option for me to play tennis at but I still remain quite interested in them as academic institutions.
