Tennis has been a defining part of my life since I was 11, shaping my character, discipline, and aspirations. As I look toward collegiate athletics, my goal is to continue competing at a high level while pursuing a pre-med track with the ultimate aim of becoming a neurologist. Balancing the demands of tennis and rigorous academics has taught me resilience, time management, and the value of perseverance—qualities I know will serve me well both on and off the court.
What makes me stand out as a candidate is my commitment to growth and adaptability. I’ve consistently competed in tournaments, winning at levels 8 to 5, and currently hold an 8 UTR. These achievements reflect not only my skill but also the countless hours spent refining my game and pushing through challenges. I take pride in being coachable, always eager to absorb feedback and apply it to improve my performance.
Beyond athletics, I bring the same drive to my academic pursuits. As an IB student, I’ve learned to handle demanding coursework while staying focused on my goals. This balance has strengthened my ability to thrive under pressure, a skill I believe is crucial in both tennis and future medical studies.
I strive to be more than just a strong player—I want to be a valuable teammate who uplifts those around me and contributes to a positive, competitive environment. Tennis has taught me the importance of leadership, accountability, and persistence, and I’m excited to carry those lessons forward at the collegiate level.
