Connor Shellem '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach, my name is Connor and I have been striving to play tennis at the college level for years now. I am a junior in high school and am trying to live my dream of playing collegiate tennis by reaching out to you. I deeply desire to benefit the team and be apart of something greater than just myself. Tennis is my passion and a huge motivator in the rest of my life, but my faith is what is going to carry me beyond tennis and that is why Christianity is my top priority. I believe that it is my faith that has allowed me to play this sport with such love and passion. Tennis has given me so much to be thankful for. a strong character, determination, commitment, perseverance, and a will to go through anything in life. I have found that it is not the sport that has gifted these attributes to me though, instead it is the good God who has allowed me the love of tennis and why I can never give up no matter what, either on the tennis court or in the classroom I will always give my best. I realize that I always need to put my academics at a high pripriory to achieve rewards after my tennis carrier. I have succeeded in high school in maintaining good grades and will continue that practice into the college classroom. I seek to set myself up for success coach and I believe that everything I am doing now will pay off in the future. It is important for you to know that my work ethic can not be matched, I will do whatever it takes to see my dream of playing college tennis come true.
