Devan Plyler '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Devan M. Plyler i am a student at Oceanside High School, CA ,I am a multi-sport athlete who plays football and runs Track and field.I run an 11.1 in the 100 and a 42.81 in the 4x100 relay. However my primary event is the 200 which i run a 22.3 and have qualified for the San Diego Section Cif championship Track and Field meet three out of four years .I am a team leader who has won several all-conference awards and I am the kind of person who gets the job done regardless if someone is watching me or not.My dream is to further my education while furthering my athletic career at the collegiate level and to learn valueable life lessons by competeing at a four year institution. I wish to earn a degree in criminal justice to pursue a career in law enforcement to protect the country that has done so much for me. I eventually wish to become a track and field coach at my high school as a way to give back to my community and better the lifes of young student athletes just as my coaches have done for me.
