Jonathan Semillo '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Jonathan Semillo, mostly everyone calls me Jon.  I am a Freshman at Saint Mary's High School in Stockton, California.  I am a first year Cross Country participant and have fell in love with the sport.  I have never run competitively before and never this far in distance.  In my first year I have qualified for sub-sections and the section championships on our freshman team and have consistently placed in the top half of every race I have run in.  I have a desire to compete further in my career at the college level.  My current career goal is to become a lawyer or educator (like my parents).  I am a good candidate for you team because of my ability to motivate others and leadership qualities.  I am a consummate team player and will do anything for the good of the team.  I am different from any other candidate because of my desire to constantly improve myself and others.  I strive to do my best at whatever I am confronted with and will accomplish anything I set out to do to the best of my ability.
