Aidan Barnes '21 Recruiting Profile

As a high school senior, I am fortunate that I was accepted into the IMG Academy this year as a boarding student to compete as a decathlete and focus on a strong finish academically in such an outstanding organization.  Prior to joining IMG, I was only able to compete as a sprinter due to team restrictions.  Last year (my junior year), due to COVID, I was not able to compete in track and field.  I am excited to continue competing, but I am especially excited to be able to challenge myself and contribute even more in a number of events, many of which will be a first time for me.  

I am hopeful that my effort academically and athletically and opportunity to compete will contribute to my ability to join a collegiate program that not only I can benefit from but one that I can help achieve team success.  Academically, I am open to new challenges, but I do have an interest in Political Science, Law and Psychology.
