Marlon Wiest '26 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete, my goal is to pursue a degree in Industrial Engineering while contributing to a collegiate track team. I was born in Hong Kong, have lived in many cities around the world, and bring an international mindset that shapes how I connect with my coaches and teammates. What sets me apart is my resilience and determination. I have overcome personal challenges, including missing my junior track season due to Lyme Disease, that taught me discipline, perspective, and how to show up in life and for my team when it counts. Athletically, I bring a strong presence, leadership, and a drive to improve myself and those around me. I love the thrill and excitement of competing in my meets, and I pride myself on being a great teammate who brings high energy, a competitive spirit, and fun to the team culture. Academically, I have taken a rigorous AP course load and managed to balance my academics and sports. My aspirations include becoming a leader on and off the track, competing at the highest collegiate level, and using my education to become an entrepreneur and someday start my own business. I am ready to work hard, grow as a person, improve my times, and give everything I have.
