Ryan Fryer '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ryan Fryer and I am a current junior at Barrington High School. I have been running Cross Country and Track in high school for three years now, and I am looking to run at the collegiate level. I have three varsity letters so far between cross country and track while also holding a 4.57 weighted GPA. I was also recently named captain of my 2021 cross country team. I am looking for a college that will help me grow as an academic scholar and an athletic competitor. I love the challenge that my AP courses bring me, and I am very eager to take on the academic challenges that may come my way at college. I am also aspiring to compete at the collegiate level to further push my athletic abilities and to experience the higher level competition that college programs offer. 

One thing I pride myself on in running is my work ethic. I know that I cannot be complacent with any success I achieve, and I am always consistently striving for what more I can do to improve myself as a runner. I know that each run at practice has a purpose, and I strive to find that purpose and hone in on it while I'm training. I am also looking to inspire my teammates through my work and to help them do more with their training than they would do otherwise. I feel that I would be a valuable asset to collegiate programs because of this work ethic and my demonstrated consistency of it. Thank you for your time.
