Personal Statement
Hello, My name is Ziven Powell, I was born in Jamaica where I initially started running track while being engaged in my classes. But moving to Maryland I focused mainly on my academics, even reaching Principals list, along with Highest Honors. My Freshman and Sophomore at Clarksburg Highschool I mainly focused on academics… staying on Honor Roll then started running track in my Junior year when I felt ready. I keep myself active when I have time… working out, speed training, explosiveness and endurance. While maintaining good grades, trying my hardest and being passionate about track.
