Jonathon Rutkowski '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jon Rutkowski. I am 5'10'' and 150 lbs. I was a team captain for my cross country team at Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Riverview, Michigan. It has been a life long dream to be good at something and I have found it in cross country. Although I have never been All-State, I still will support others that do. I have been running for 5 years now. I started in 8th grade when the cross coach told me i would be a great assest for her team.  I've always wanted to run in college. Even though my family struggles with money, i would still like to pursue my dream of running for a college team. I want to go to a bigger college. I dont mind what division I run in, its all just numbers. All are equal, others just have more heart put into what they love. I am one of those people. i put my heart into everything i do. I would like to run for Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. But i am open to going to other schools other than Wayne State.  I would like to go to school for Computer Engineering/ Computer Software Support. I would like to be an impact on the other runners on my team to continue running all their life. It's great for you and it is a great way to get close to your team and make friends.
